If you are energetic and love kids then one of our kids teams may be just for you! We have various kids groups each week with their own mix of worship, teaching and ministry covering everything any 0-11 year old could want. If your application is successful, the Soul Survivor team will give you a place on one of the kids teams listed below. (You will be able to select which age group would be your number one choice. We’ll do our very best to accommodate you but unfortunately we can’t guarantee you will be placed on your chosen team.)
You should expect to work up to 8 hours a day and here’s what an average day will look like for each group!
Your shifts will be a little longer than advertised kids work sessions because you’ll gather together with your team to set up at the start and pack down at the end. As well as the sessions each morning, you’ll be expected to help out with the Free Time Café and baby bathing each afternoon, and if you’re on the Refreshers or Breakout teams you will have a session in the evenings – we will try to rota it so that if you are on one of these two teams you can get to some of the evening meetings during the week.
You will need to provide your own tent, caravan or offsite accommodation but in return for your hard work we will provide you with an event pass and all your meals (dinner of Day 1 until dinner of Day 6) – what more could you want!?
You’ll be required to apply for a DBS certificate before we can confirm your place on this team. Information will be sent to you when we process your initial application but if you already have a DBS with Soul Survivor that is less than three years old or you’re subscribed to the update service, then you won’t have to complete a new one – winner! Just drop us an email with the details and we can take it from there.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE?
The majority of our kids team members will need to be 18 or over, but there will be a few spaces for 16 and 17 year olds on each team.
WHEN WILL I NEED TO BE ON SITE?
There will be a kids team meeting at midday on Day 1 which you MUST attend, followed by an all teams meeting at 3pm. You may wish to arrive in time to set up your tent before these meetings. You’ll need to be around until the evening of Day 6.
OK I’M INTERESTED, BUT HOW DO I APPLY?
We need kids’ team members for each Soul Survivor week and for Naturally Supernatural and you can apply online using our booking system. If you haven’t done so already, you will need to register with the system and then login. Book a place on the event of your choice and choose the option to book as a team member. It’s completely free to volunteer with us so you won’t have to give any payment details.
