How do i apply to be on team?

Right here on our booking website! You’ll need to book onto the event before completing an online application form. Check out this handy guide and book online here.

How old do i need to be to be on team?

All teams require you to be at least 16 at the start of the event. This increases to 18, 21 and 23 for different teams, so please check the job description to make sure you are eligible. If you are under 18 you will need to come with a group that has an over 18 who is responsible for you. The teams open to 16 and 17 year olds are hospitality, café teams and kids teams.

Who Can be my REferee?

We ask all our applicants to provide the details of the senior leader of their current church, who they have known for at least six months and who is not a relation, to be their referee to provide a reference to support their application. This reference should not come from your youth leader, worship leader, small group leader etc but the senior leader of the church. If you have any problems finding a referee that matches this description please contact us.

What photo do i need to upload?

We ask every team member to supply a current photo of themselves so we can identify them on site. This should be a picture of just your head and shoulders, with you facing the camera and with no sunglasses/hats/face paint covering your face. Unlike passport officials we are very happy to see you smile!

If the picture won’t upload onto the system, please email the image to and we will upload it for you.

Why can't I see the team i want to apply for?

You’ll be able to select the team you want to apply for once you have booked yourself onto the event, begun your application, completed your personal details, uploaded a photo of yourself and given us information about your church. Please make sure you have read through all of the information about the team you are applying for on the teams section of the website so that you know what to expect.

If the team you were hoping to apply for isn’t on the list, it either means that the team is already full or that it is an invite-only team (this includes teams such as production and the Chat Room). If it’s an invite-only team, once you have reached this stage (booked onto the event and applied as far as selecting the team) please drop an email letting us know why you would like to apply for that team. If appropriate, we can then reset your application to a hidden invite-only team.

Do you have a waiting list when teams get full?

We’re really sorry if the team you’d like to be on is full, but unfortunately we’re not able to keep a waiting list. We’d love for you to pick another team or a different week you’d like to serve at.

Why haven't I heard anything about my application?

Once you have fully submitted your team application, a reference request will be sent out to the referee you provided on your application. Your church leader will be sent a link to a form, where they’ll be asked a few questions about things like how well you work in a team. Certain teams also require a valid DBS check to be completed in which case we’ll send you an email about how to apply for one. Both of these processes can take a bit of time.

Once we’ve received your reference and DBS where required, the team leader of the team you’ve applied for will read through your application form and your reference.

Please bear with us – it takes a while for our team to approve all of the applications and is often dependant on how quickly we receive references and DBS checks. We will let you know the outcome of your application as soon as we’re able to.

CAn we book on to a team as a group?

You can express an interest on being on team with other people, but each member of the group will need to fill out their own individual application form online. We advise that you apply as early as possible to make sure there’s enough space for all of you and let us know that you all want to be together on your application.

How Much time will I work/have off during the event?

All team members should expect to work around eight hours a day and in return are given a free place at the event. We also provide most teams with their meals. Every team works different shifts so please see the role description for more information on what to expect. Your team leader will work out a rota on the first day of the event and we’ll do our best to make sure that each team member can go to at least one main meeting a day.

If you have any questions about serving on team then drop us an email at or give us a call on 0303 333 1 333 and we’d be more than happy to help!
