Sound is a very important part of the Naturally Supernatural and Soul Survivor set up. And although we employ a professional sound team they can’t be in all our venues at the same time so we need you to give them a bit of help!
Working alongside our onsite professionals who will have set up the venues before you arrive, you’ll take responsibility for the technical requirements of the smaller venues and cafés around site like Café Uno. You’ll interact with the seminar hosts, speakers and venue managers to mix sound levels and set the atmosphere in our venues by operating lighting desks and sorting out projectors. Full training will be given, although previous sound experience would be useful! If you have a preference for sound or lights, let us know in your application form and we’ll try our best to accommodate your skillset and interest.
You will work around 8 hours a day in a venue that has been assigned to you, making sure all equipment is used properly and Soul Survivor sound policies are adhered to.
You will need to provide your own tent, caravan or offsite accommodation but in return for your hard work we will provide you with an event pass and all your meals (dinner of Day 1 until dinner of Day 6).
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE?
The minimum age is 18 for the tech team.
WHEN WILL I NEED TO BE ON SITE?
You’ll need to be on site for the all teams meeting at 3pm on Day 1 (you may wish to arrive in time to set up your tent before the 3pm meeting) right through until midnight on Day 6.
OK I’M INTERESTED, BUT HOW DO I APPLY?
We need techy types at all of our events and you can apply online using our booking system. If you haven’t done so already, you will need to register with the system and then login. Book a place on the event of your choice and choose the option to book as a team member. It’s completely free to volunteer with us so you won’t have to give any payment details.
